The Drug-Free-Living Video Library is a comprehensive library of programs designed to teach people about the dangers of drugs and substance abuse. For thousands of years, stories have been used to educate, communicate, and motivate audiences about important topics - and I can not think of anything more important than the health and welfare of our children.
The 13-broadcast quality programs are used by teachers, parent teacher organizations, drug treatment counselors, police officers, libraries, parents, youth pastors, and many others to help young people understand that drugs and substance abuse are dangerous.
The programs range from 20 to 25 minutes and cover a wide range of topics including methamphetamine, heroin, ecstasy, synthetic drugs, prescription drugs, marijuana, alcohol, tobacco, drug babies, fetal alcohol syndrome, and more. These programs also illustrate why people sell both legal and illegal substances — and you and I both know it’s all about the money.
If you want someone to not drink, smoke, or use drugs, these stories will be a big help. A combination of real stories, reenactments, expert participation, and narrative action bring the subject to life so your audience gets it. And, I’ve heard that so many young people made a decision not to use because of these shows. And like I said, they have just been updated.
